Cookology have developer this brand new 90cm induction hob with Schott Ceran glass and packed it full of features to really raise the standard of your kitchen. The 90cm width allows for 5 Induction zones that are generously spaced apart so your pots and pans aren't bashing into each other, which is ideal if you have a large family or like entertaining - plus the stylish design is sure to impress and will be a stunning focal point in your kitchen especially with one of our Cookology extractors.

You get 5 zones and the two left and right zones can be used as a combined zone for more power and larger pans. Being an Induction Hob means that the CIT901 uses induction motors instead of traditional elements (like a kettle). All this simply means is that when you place a metal, induction ready pan on the surface of the glass, the induction motor will heat up the metal in the pan directly without wasting the energy & time is takes to heat up a normal hob element and then the glass or plate surface of the hob. Because the Heat is not trapped in the glass or element, cooking with an Induction Hob is as responsive as cooking with gas! The pan heats up almost instantly and crucially, when you turn the power down, the drop in heat is instant - giving you more finesse and versatility when cooking. The only thing to watch out for is that your pan must be iron based or "Induction compatible" - if a Fridge Magnet sticks to the base of your pan, it should be fine. The CIT901 is a Touch Control Hob, which means it lies completely flat and can be kept spotlessly clean with a simple wipe or by using a hob scraper.
