You may want more space for serving food or drinks or even a space to create a feature in your kitchen when you aren't cooking. The Thingamahob has so many uses. For cleaning we recommend a non-abrasive sponge or cloth with either an antibacterial cleaning solution or a certified kitchen worktop cleaner. Please select the correct cover variant, gas or electric. An electric cover will not fit a gas hob. However, a gas cover will fit both if you prefer more height. Please do not use the cover as a direct cutting board. The wood and finishing we use will not withstand any cutting tasks. Much like you wouldn't ever cut directly onto your kitchen top. By all means, you can use a chopping board on top of the cover with no problems.

Never put the cover over any hob which is lit or active. A hob generally cools down within 30 minutes but touch feel before placing the cover back over the hob.

95% of the time all our standard sized covers will fit any work top whether it's for a kitchen island hob or a standard kitchen work top with a splash back. Made using Melamine faced chipboard.
